We are interested in having two Parent Governors join our new Governing Body. Please see the letter below from the Academy Trust.
More information on being a Governor can be found here:
Please see our Code of conduct for Governors below which includes information on their role.
Chair of Governors
I have recently been appointed at Chair of Governors at Holne Chase, I have held the post of Vice Chair for several years and now am happy to take on the role of Chair and embrace the challenge the role offers me. I have one daughter at Holne Chase School (KS1). I wanted to become a Governor to help shape my child’s future and also help bring strong ties to the surrounding community. I have a degree in Computer Science . I have a strong retail background from stacking shelves to running a flagship store of 110,000sq ft with 90 staff with an 80 million pound turnover.
My name is Stephanie Boyers and I am one of the staff governors for the school. I have been teaching in Primary Schools for 13 years and before that, I taught Art in a Secondary School that supported boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
I am the Assistant Head Teacher and I am also the school SENCo. During my time at Holne Chase I have also been responsible for EAL, Pupil Premium and Children who are Looked After. So I have a vested interest in helping all children achieve their goals.
My own children currently attend Holne Chase, and I feel lucky that I get to witness first hand how dedicated and committed the staff here are. My interest in achieving the absolute best for the school comes from both a professional and a personal point of view.
I have 12 years experience of school governance and I am fully committed to ensuring the children in our school receive an excellent standard of education and care.
