Our Changemaker Vision

Building Aspiration for Tomorrow's Changemakers

At Holne Chase, we empower children to dream big, developing their ambition and innovative skills to become active citizens shaping a brighter futures through their chosen careers.

Alongside our curriculum, we are passionate about our Personal Development curriculum in which we aim ‘To build the aspiration of children by enhancing their cultural capital through a range of enriching opportunities resulting in them developing key values as they become global and responsible citizens in a developing world.’

As part of this, we hold special days to enrich the learning by celebrating special events in school where we embrace and explore a range of cultures, traditions and festivities from around the world. We also provide opportunities for new experiences to increase their cultural capital as they learn about the world around them linked to our school values.

Creating Changemakers

A Changemaker is someone who actively works to make a positive difference in their community, organisation, or in the world. They identify problems, take initiative, and lead or inspire efforts to create meaningful, lasting change.

We encourage all our pupils to:

  • Build Aspiration through:
    • Empowerment: Build their self-esteem, resilience and independence to enhance learning
    • Ambition: Encourage big dreams to pursue their passion, instilling a mindset that embraces challenges
  • Be Changemakers by becoming:
    • Global Citizens: Promote social awareness and celebrate diversity to create engaged global citizens.
    • Innovators: Prepare for future challenges and promote lifelong learning
