Performance Data.

Holne Chase

Is an improved school.

We are pursuing the very best opportunities and highest outcomes for our children, and track progress in the context of our peers at other schools within the Trust, in the Milton Keynes area, and nationally.

Performance data below relates to assessments taken since the school joined the Trust in December 2020.

Phonics

We passionately believe that children should be given the very best start when they join school in Reception year.

We are delighted therefore that recent Year One Phonics screening performance was exceptional at Holne Chase (94%), evidencing happy, confident early readers all round. These excellent results put the school at the top of the Phonics tables, well ahead of the 81% pre-pandemic UK average.

We are rightly celebrating this achievement; proud of the children who worked so incredibly hard to reach this milestone, of their families and carers, and of course the brilliant teaching staff who made it happen.

Key Stage Two Attainment

Hot on the heels of brilliant Year One phonics news, we learned that Key Stage Two attainment is exceptional at Holne Chase too. This means our wonderful Year Six students, who experienced considerable disruption to learning during the pandemic, worked consistently to such a level that they outperformed their peers nationally.
