OUR SCHOOL

Our Story.

A School

For the whole family

A proactive member of the community in Bletchley since opening in 1952, we are a school for the whole family, with a committed and highly skilled teaching staff, led by brilliant new headteacher David Killick.

We believe learning is a partnership between home and school and, since joining Preston Hedges Trust, have transformed the early years provision to embed a ‘best practice’ reading scheme and prioritise learning through creative play.

Brand new creative learning spaces have been installed all around school, for children and parents alike to enjoy. Some of the highlights include:

Jungle-themed library; to support reading for pleasure, children have the opportunity to visit our brilliant jungle-themed library each week, and choose from a broad range of high-quality texts to read, both in school and at home.
A modern ICT suite; our children develop great confidence and skills in technology, learning with iPads, chrome books and micro: bits.
Classroom environments; spaces for all ages are calm, neutral learning spaces with scope for celebrating learning across the curriculum.
Early Years; transformed into an exciting learning space facilitating inquisitive learning.

The result? Our children are developing into happy, confident readers who love attending school and learning in a range of creative learning spaces, fully embracing the school’s ethos of Fun, Creativity and Achievement.

Learning through
creative play.
